Here at NWKC we believe that buying cabinets is a big purchase, and should be met with the full support and attention you deserve, accompanied by competitive pricing to make the process as easy as possible. Timelines can vary significantly by manufacturer, options selected, and current market circumstances. For most products the time from order to delivery is about 2 weeks for semi-custom, and 8 weeks for full custom.

We operate essentially as a custom cabinet broker, working as an intermediary between you and several different American cabinet manufacturers within our network. This allows us to help you find a product that is the best fit for your current needs and budget. Also, by not having a storefront we are able to extend to our customers the savings of not having a big overhead like the big box stores.

As former builders ourselves, we know how doing work on your own home can be a rewarding and great money-saving solution. However, an improper installation could cost you in the long run and potentially compromise your warranty from the manufacturer. Anyone considering this method should consider their individual experience and confidence level. Our team is able to help you with questions to determine this, as well as give recommendations for finding a license professional in your area.

Hinges and drawer glides are included in the standard spec of a cabinet, however options like ‘soft-close’ hinges and ball-bearing drawer glides are offered as an optional upgrade. Items like knobs/pulls can be purchased at special discount pricing through NWKC for an additional charge.

Generally the answer is "no", but it depends on timing. If the item(s) you need to change have not been released to the shop, then we may be able to change it. After manufacturing has begun there will be a fee for making the change. The fee can quickly become equivalent to the price of another cabinet.
